FULL TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS - TRAINING PROVIDEDThe Towne Family of Dealerships has openings in Williamsville and Orchard Park for Full-Time detailers. Position Summary:A Towne Detail specialist is accountable for vehicles to be thoroughly cleaned and ready for customer delivery or showroom presentation. Objective is to maximize production, quality and customer satisfaction through proper scheduling and good communications.Responsibilities:Complete Detail Step 1 - (Exterior) Wash, Buff, Compound effected areas, Glaze dark colors, wax, dress motor and tires; clean outside, All degreasing on vehicle (Including: Motor, Door Jams, Rims, Tires), hose off floor mats, Windows, Rewash Step 2 - (Interior) Vacuum Rugs, Seats, Headliners, Trunk; Scrub/ Shampoo floor mats, upholstery (as needed or requested), Clean instrument cluster(dash board) Remove all trash, Interior Windows Vehicles (after service): Cleaning includes - Wash and dry exterior, Vacuum interior, Spot clean interior, Interior windows (minimum three), Tire dressingsPreps Step 1 - (Exterior) Wash vehicle, clean door jams, Remove macosoline – (rust proofing) from all view points, clean inside windows, Remove stickers (Except Inspection Sticker) (Fold MINI price sticker neatly and put in storage compartment), Check for scratches – Buff as necessary, windows, steal wool (0, 00) exterior windows, apply Towne Sticker and Plate Frame Step 2 - (Interior) Spot clean upholstery (look for grease spots on seats and carpet), Inside Windows Other Duties: Keep lot and used vehicles clean on front line Maintain lot appearance and cleanliness – garbage pick up Maintain cleanliness of loaner fleet and fuel vehicles as needed Assist in snow and ice removal from parking lots and doorways when necessary Perform errands for sales department when requested Assists management with other duties as deemed appropriate to maintain goals and objectives of the organizationQualifications:Previous Detail Experience Preferred Able to drive standard transmission Valid and clean NYS drivers’ license Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customersPhysical Requirements: Moving about the Dealership to complete detail Using hand and/or power tools and equipment consistent with industry standards Standing for five to eight hours during shift Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching and climbing Utilizing physical and manual dexterity Lifting up to 50 lbs.
