For ages 14+. Explore the lower portion of Swift Creek and the surrounding areas by kayak. For ages 14+. Explore the peaceful waters of Swift Creek, a tributary of the Appomattox River. We will be able to explore the creek, and depending on tides and water levels, possibly explore the old sand pits used during the construction of I-95. This is a peaceful stretch of the creek where numerous fauna and flora can be observed.   Sunday, May 16, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. White Bank Park. $15/resident. $25/non-resident. Registration ends May 12, 2021. Participants will meet at White Bank Park, located at 400 White Bank Rd, Colonial Heights, 23834 at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 16.
