A Maintenance Custodian is needed to perform the maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of all common areas throughout a Community located in Coconut Creek, FL. Maintenance Custodians are responsible for keeping buildings and grounds clean by picking up trash and debris. Custodians also complete a number of other functions, such as picking up landscaping debris, blowing/sweeping leaves, and cleaning and wiping down fixtures. Full-time role at $12 per hour. Duties include but are not limited to: • Drive throughout community to complete tasks. • Clean and maintains the exterior catwalks/walkways and dumpster areas. • Maintains common area walls, doors, floors and elevator and lift including wash and clean, dust and remove cobwebs • Collect and remove trash and recyclables. • Light maintenance (such as painting, clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks and other repair work). • Communicate with residents daily and provide inspection results to CAM. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Minimum one-year general custodial work is highly desirable. • Ability to work with minimal supervision. • Must have excellent time management skills and work ethic to get daily job tasks done on time each day. • Ability to operate pressure washer, blowers and equipment associated with custodial trades. • Outdoor work with extended periods of standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, lifting, pushing and heavy lifting.
