Description

An afterschool program for teens who have special needs. We created this program for Teens who want to know what they can expect from a day program, to see if it's something they want to do when they graduate. Teens who are bored in the afternoons and want something to do Teens who want structured times to meet new friends and socialize.Parents who aren't sure if they want to apply for DSPD funding (needed for day programs) An average day will consist of coming in and getting settled, an hour of working on service projects, such as: weaving matts , stuffing pillows, making toys out of beads and foam ,shredding and more. Then we will have fun social activity's such as playing yard, wii and board games , making fun crafts , and with green screens. Then at about 5:25 we will clean up and get ready to be picked up. On the last day of our afterschool program we will have a talent show, and invite everyone's families, where they can show off all they learned to do.
