Join us on a beautiful Wednesday in May to support the efforts of Hawthorne Community Center and to enjoy a day at the IMS Join us on a beautiful Wednesday in May to support the efforts of Hawthorne Community Center and to enjoy a day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway! This annual event offers guests an opportunity to visit the IMS during the height of IndyCar season and explore the excitement on the grounds while enjoying food, raising a glass together, building community and supporting Hawthorne at the same time.  Attendees will have access to pit and garage passes, a delicious lunch, and an opportunity to watch drivers practice for Indy 500.   ⏰ Schedule: 11am Lunch is served at the North Chalet Tent Build community with other neighbors and friends of Hawthorne Community Center.Lunch is available until 1pm.12pm Program begins Learn about the exciting work that Hawthorne Community Center is engaging in to drive change within the Hawthorne community and how you can support the organization.12:30pm - 6pm Guests are able to sign up for pit and garage passes and are free to explore the grounds and watch cars practice for the Indy 500.Purchase your tickets by using the "Tickets" button. Ticket sale proceeds will go to the work that we are doing to support prosperity and well-being in the community! NOTE: The event will be held outside with all Marion County social distancing and masking requirements, in a large open-air tent with outside seating available. To further support safety, Hawthorne will only have a short program and forgo traditional fundraising activities like the silent auction. Food will be catered but individually prepared. The goal of this event is to raise funds for the center and everyone to have a nice time at the IMS! This event is a rain or shine event. Parking is not included in your ticket purchase. Hawthorne Community Center has been the heart of Hawthorne Community for almost 100 years!
