The popular singer Emily Tipping will be streaming LIVE from The Venue, Wednesday, May 5 at 7pm. ABOUT THE SHOW The 7:00pm show will be Livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube. ABOUT EMILY TIPPING Emily Hollis Tipping grew up one block away from the vast cornfield that is Central Illinois, taking every opportunity she could find--alone on a swingset in the back yard, in choir at school, on front porches and finally in a local jam band--to sing out loud. More recently, Emily can be found adding backing vocals here and there for local favorites like Dave Ramont, Funktional Family and more. She took the stage at The Venue in early March 2020 for the Album Cover series, performing the entirety of Janis Joplin's unforgettable album, Pearl. She's got a double handful of original tunes, and mostly enjoys banging away on her out-of-tune piano with an old-fashioned near to hand.
