Our team is seeking adventurous breast cancer survivors who are ready to improve health & fitness through the sport of Dragon Boat paddling
How do you move a 40 foot long pink canoe?We are hosting an information session on Saturday May 1st (Session 1: 10am to 12pm and Session 2: 1:30pm to 3:30pm) to recruit breast cancer survivors to field our 22 personnel crew. Meet current Pink Phurree Dragon Boat Team members and find out if this may be the time for you to begin a new adventure and join the international breast cancer survivor dragon boat paddling community right here in the Greater Houston Area.
No experience or athletic ability is necessary. Equipment and training provided.
We are looking for individuals who are open and ready to try something new and rewarding: learn how to Dragon Boat paddle and compete in races local, national and international race vents.

Who We ArePINK PHURREE (pronounced "fury"), Texas' First all women and cancer survivor dragon boat was founded by Frances Arzu' in 2007. PINK PHURREE has been a member of the International Breast Cancer Paddler's Commission (IBCPC) since 2011. PINK PHURREE, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is an unconventional cancer support group where dragon boat paddling is used to promote active survivorship both on and off the water.
