WAUWATOSA, WI— A driver "intentionally" struck a pedestrian and hit a car around 2 p.m. on April 12 at 2500 N. Mayfair Road, according to the Wauwatosa Police log.
A man was driving a grey Ford SUV and fled the area after the incident.
Wauwatosa Police Sgt. Abby Pavlik told Patch the incident started as a verbal altercation about driving rights-of-way in the parking lot which then escalated. The victim did not know the driver of the striking SUV.
"The individual that was struck stated that the vehicle hit him in the legs, but he was able to push off of its hood to prevent being pinned between the two vehicles; he did not desire medical attention. To the best of my knowledge, the driver of the striking vehicle has not been identified," Pavlik told Patch.
The driver is described 29-years-old, 5'08" to 5' 11", 180-200 pounds. He had long black dreads that went past his shoulder blades and either had acne or face tattoos, the log said.
