We are currently seeking a candidate to join our team environment and support our New Bedford facility as Materials Handler. Rate: TBD Full time 40 hours The Materials Handler is responsible for the daily support and direction of the Materials department. Maintains records of materials in inventory and on order. Monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock on the production line. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities. Fulfills international orders. Pulls and prep vinyl inventory for Service. Ensures accuracy with materials being received. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Exceptional communication skills. Effectively communicate information throughout all levels of management. Effective team player with the ability to work independently and maintain willingness to learn new things. Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; Maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports. Month End reporting Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Physical and Intellectual Demands: * Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks; moving materials within warehouse; international order fulfillment; * Ability to operate pallet jack * Accuracy * Problem-solving * Attention to detail Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills. Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control. Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data. Database management skills. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork. Educational Requirements: Minimum: High School diploma and/or at least 3 years work experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
