Hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Applicants must have at least 4+ years of pediatric experience. If you are a therapist who loves to work with a variety of levels and skill needs-, who has the energy to match the rambunctious 3-year-old as well as the shy but so eager to talk about dinosaurs 7-year-old- and who knows how to balance between sensory, motor, and functional treatment approaches- you will fit right in!​ Requirements: · Experience working with children with developmental delays or disability required · Experience in outpatient or early intervention pediatrics at least 2+ years - including independence in the documentation of evaluations, treatments, progress notes, etc. · Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and multi-disciplinary teams · Must be able to lift/transfer up to 50 pounds and physically move therapy tools and on/off suspension equipment · Current CPR and First Aid certifications and a valid Driver's License and or reliable transportation · Must be able to work outside of traditional "clinical" approaches, helping therapy transfer from clinic to home and community successfully. · Kind and clear communicator to your team and families. · Eagerness to learn and a self-starter. Must be responsible for your own career growth. · Must pass a full background check · No criminal history Preferred: · Sensory Treatment Experience- not required if you prefer another area of specialty.
