From the Duval County Public Schools: April 16, 2021 The Duval County School Board will consider all nine school renaming action items during its June meeting. Previously, the Board was planning to act on some middle and elementary schools in May, with the agenda items for the high schools and one middle school coming in June. "It makes more sense to handle these action items at the same meeting, and not discuss the recommendations for some while community voting continues for other schools," said School Board Chairwoman Elizabeth Andersen.
