NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA — Adam Scanlon is urging legislative colleagues to give more state aid to the town of North Attleboro since the town has recently lost value.
Scanlon said that he recently sat down with the chair of the Legislature's Ways and Means Committee, Rep. Aaron Michlewitz, and told him the process that allocates state funding to local communities has kept state aid stagnant.
The town has lost its value thanks to inflation and rising assessments said, Scanlon.
