We are excited to announce the 2021 Bible Reading Marathon! Since 2007 believers have joined together to read from Genesis to Revelation in 88 hours over the course of 6 days. This year there will be special events throughout the week. The location is the Loudoun County Courthouse grounds, 218 N King Street, Leesburg, VA 20175. (Directly across from Shoes Coffee Shop) Please join us in the 14th Annual Bible Reading Marathon. Saturday May 1 through Thursday May 6, 2021. Bring your family, friends, churches, bible study groups, ministries, etc. and sign up for a 30 minute slot to read. Larger groups can sign up for multiple slots. Our earnest desire is to reveal to our community the powerful Word of God. The Bibles transforming power is guaranteed. Jesus Christ set the example of how important the Word was to Him and should be to us. When tempted by Satan, Jesus quoted the Word. "Man does not live by bread alone; but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God" – Matthew 4:4 and Deuteronomy 8:3. Psalm 19 cites that the Word of God written in the Bible is more desirable than gold, sweeter than honey; it brings joy to the heart, enlightenment to the mind, and new life to the soul. So please come out and experience this blessed, spirit filled, anointed and mighty week. Special Events for the 2021 Bible Reading Marathon: Saturday, May 1 ---12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Pastors & Ministry Open BRM welcomes Pastors and Ministry Leaders to kick off the Bible reading in one accord. We encourage you to meet and connect with each other. Light refreshments will be served. Sunday, May 2 ---12:00 PM - 4:00 PM Kids Afternoon! Children will read from the Gospel of John. Monday, May 3---5:00 PM - 10:00 PM Youth Night Calling all Teens, Youth Groups, and Youth Ministry, etc. Food is provided! Bring a hungry friend or two or three…. Tuesday, May 4 ---5:00 PM - 10:00 PM International Night Read the bible in your native tongue and Bible. BRM welcomes all languages, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Turkish, Farsi, French, German, Japanese, Urada, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Tamil, Uzbek and others. Wednesday, May 5---5:00 PM - 10:00 PM Worship Night Marathoners will continue reading as others join in acoustic praise and worship in the background. Thursday, May 6---12:00 Noon - segue to the National Day of Prayer Individuals or groups can sign up for one or more 30 minute reading slots at Sign-up Genius If you don't have an account, look for the green button at the top of the sign-up page to create an account. Then pick a reading slot. Reading slots are available from 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM daily.
