Fun event for the whole family! Join USO NC & Black Box Dance Theater as we explore our story in the military through dance and interaction The whole family will have so much fun! Come join the USO NC and Black Box Dance Theater as we explore how movement can represent life in the military. Come make new friends along with joining long time friends as we have a great time building our connections. We will have 2 different groups. One for ages 5-11, one for adults and kids age 12+. Don't worry, we'll send you home with dinner after! May 13 Event: 5pm- Join Black Box Dance Theatre in making a movement piece celebrating you Did you just think...NO WAY! I CAN'T DANCE! Black Box specializes in building movement to represent facts...but the beauty is that you are going to teach them the dance you want. Their goal is build a dance with you that is about you. Check out this exampleBlack Box Dance Theatre is a wonderful supporter of telling our military stories. This is a professional piece they developed to tell the story of one of the company's veterans. Black Box has been working with our USO programs for 6 years now and are always one of the most highly rated parts of the events by both service members and spouses. One participant commented, "I was afraid of the dancing, but in the end it was all just the movement I already knew." Dinner is sometimes hard to manage after an event. Don't worry. We'll send you home with ready to go dinner.
