Sweetwater Lifestyles is expanding yet again! Exceptional full-time positions and growth opportunities await qualified candidates. We are a two-fold operation, in that we operate a high end, boutique-style boat club that offers high end boats, Captain’s Services and several other unique amenities. We also operate a charter boat company that offers private and public charters on our commercially built USCG inspected vessels along with several different styles of fishing charters. We operate in Bonita Bay Marina off the Imperial River in Bonita Springs, Florida. Essential Functions: • Personality, positive attitude, friendly demeanor, broad social skills and work ethic are paramount • We work extremely hard at certain times of year, so stamina and the ability to have a flexible schedule during “season” is critical • Demonstrate the ability to proactively approach and engage passengers and members for lengthy periods of time. • Will be working in the elements of SW Florida weather • Common boat handling skills of single and double screw boats and vessels • Navigation knowledge of Estero Bay, Naples Bay and Pine Island Sound Qualifications and Skills • Master Captains license minimum 25 Tons. Will consider candidates with a 6- Pack license who have the ability to obtain a Master’s license within 90-180 days from date of hire • Must have a valid TWIC card, be CPR certified and have First Aid certification • Existing membership in a drug consortium is a plus or have the ability to enroll upon date of hire • Must possess an FCC operator’s permit or have the ability to obtain it upon date of hire • Must reside full time in SW Florida • We have several cross-functional positions available, with a need for a fishing captain. As such, that specific role must possess a high fishing acumen, knowledge of both backcountry and nearshore wrecks and reefs, along with having the proven ability to successfully interact with a wide variety of people and personalities.
