STAMFORD, CT — Stamford police are investigating the untimely death of a 56-year-old woman who was recently found dead in Stamford. In a statement, Lt. Tom Scanlon said officers found the woman in an apartment on Main Street after gaining entry into the residence during a welfare check Sunday.
