Who We Are: A day camp at Columbia Baptist Church where grade school aged children can participate in fun activities and form lasting friendships. We curate an engaging weekly lineup of special guests, crafts, and outdoor activities that correspond with that week’s theme to meet the needs of a variety of children. We promote a friendly and welcoming cabin atmosphere where campers are able to make new friends and reunite with old ones from past summers. We are dedicated to providing a dynamic camp experience for all children and their families. Who We’re Looking For: A team of dedicated, hard working teens and young adults who love God, have a passion for working with children, and have a desire to create a fun and unforgettable summer camp experience! When: June 14 - August 20, Monday-Friday: 8:30am-4:30pm Positions Available: Lead Counselors (age 18+) and Assistant Counselors (age 16-17) What You’ll Do: Lead counselors are responsible for creating a fun, safe, and exciting cabin environment every week. Job duties include building a community atmosphere in their cabin by getting to know their campers, leading activities that are consistent with our weekly theme, and using their own interests and hobbies to provide a variety of fun and interesting activities for campers to participate in during cabin time. Assistant counselors help the Lead Counselors to maintain an exciting cabin atmosphere. Job duties include moving between multiple cabins and building relationships with the campers in those cabins, collaborating with Lead Counselors to help lead activities, and being available to lend a helping hand if the Lead Counselors require assistance.
