Ton's Hauling LLC is Hiring! We are looking for a driver who would also be responsible for loading and unloading items for our junk removal and house move services. We operate Monday – Saturday. You will be required to work some Saturdays and expected to work between 30-40 hours per week. Our open position consists of 4-5 working days per week. We start you at $18/HR plus a potential bonus of up to $2,000 after 3-6 months (not including all the tips you’ll be receiving!) What We Do: Ton’s Hauling provides moving and junk removal services. About 70% of our work is hauling away old furniture/appliances like couches, mattresses, dressers, refrigerators, washers & dryers etc. We go inside pretty much anywhere inside a home to remove these items, from the garage, upstairs, mainfloor and the basement. You will drive with one other mover to assist you with the removal these items and load them into and off of the truck. We also pick up furniture for donation and sometimes find good furniture worth saving that we bring to a storage facility to list for sale. About 30% of our business consists of house moves. We move people from apartments to houses and vice versa. You will have a lead mover assist you on how to properly pad furniture, load and secure the load before unloading. We are a small company, of only 3-4 employees with great reviews and we want to keep it that way. We are willing to pay the rate we do to ensure we have good team players. What’s Expected: • Must have a Clean Driving record & a Valid driver’s License • No CDL Required (if you can drive a uhaul truck, you can drive our 16’ box truck. • Ability to work long hours - When necessary. (some days we are out 12 hours – this is not common) • Comfortable driving a 16’ moving truck • Looking for a strong and careful mover. • Experience preferred: How to use box dollies, appliance dollies, four wheelers, hump straps and how to wrap furniture pads around furniture to prevent damage. • Calling every customer before heading over to their residence. • Take photos of furniture and send to Manager for every donation pick up. • No texting and driving, and no aggressive driving will be tolerated.
