When he texts you: #1: DO NOT answer YES to ANY of his text messages (he's trying to get into your device's software)! #2: DO NOT enter the 6 digit code he'll ask to send you "to prove you're a real Craigslist poster" Again, this will be the death knell of ALL your phone's private info AND security! DO NOT DO IT! I sell pretty often, and this is the first time I'm posting this as fair warning. I've had numbers try it before, but I thought it just a nuisance. It's an epidemic! I will add more numbers as they try and scam me. Check back often, because if Craigslist allows me, I'll keep this updated and refreshed. We're a tight community. Let's not have scammers screw our brothers and sisters out of their hard earned money! If you come across this scam yourself, report the number to me and I'll post it here! If anyone starts out the inquiry of the product you're selling with a "YES or NO" question, divert them and ask where they're from. It gets them every time. For IF you answer YES? They're halfway through your phone's security!
