BEL AIR, MD — Drivers have another reason to park their phones while behind the wheel this weekend. Officers will be looking for speeders, seat belt violations and drivers using their handheld phones on Saturday, April 17, according to the Bel Air Police Department. The traffic enforcement operation will take place along the MD 24 corridor, police said. Authorities also remind drivers of Maryland's Move Over Law, which requires those approaching emergency vehicles to move into a lane not immediately adjacent to the emergency vehicle and slow down if it is not possible to move.
