Summary Supervises and coordinates kitchen operations to ensure quality and efficiency. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. A successful candidate will have experience and enjoy a fast paced, growing company, in an ever changing industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. -Coordinate with Production Manager on planning, assigning and directing production in the kitchen -Train, direct and supervise kitchen employees and kitchen leads (station rotation, prep work, and techniques) to ensure quotas are met -Scheduling and labor management -Perform and engage in performance and developmental reviews for kitchen staff -Utilize a combination of constant feedback and personal reflection to continually improve -Coordinate the preparation, mixing, cooking, producing, depositing, demolding, and storage all facility consumables and products intended for sales or promotion -Perform opening and closing duties -Monitor operations throughout the process to ensure processes are being followed and troubleshoot when necessary -Monitor stock of all kitchen supplies and ingredients -Ensure proper storage of all facility consumables and products. Store food products in compliance with safety practices -Maintain high-quality standards with weights, the appearance of product and flavor profile to ensure product consistency -Ensure all digital logs are filled out, maintained, and organized related to kitchen production -Maintain and comply with sanitation and safety standards Perform team and individual tasks as assigned while maintaining an efficient production pace and speed. -Perform visual quality inspections on products, minimize waste where possible. -Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company -Review and communicate daily on all safety-related topics of discussion to ensure a safe working environment -Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. -Associate’s or Culinary degree preferred -At least 3 years of directly related experience and/or training in a food production or kitchen environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience -Must have experience and familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations Must have at least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience -Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook -Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written -Ability to pass Criminal Background Check and obtain a Dispensary Agent Registration Card ServSafe Food -Handler Certificate / Food Safety Course is preferred -Occasional travel required to other Wyld locations, events, expos, supplier evaluations, and fellow manufacturing facilities -Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written -State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older Compensation As an exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive hourly rate, PTO and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
