EAST HAVEN, CT —A 24-year-old East Haven man has been sentenced to serve six years in prison for dealing drugs out of his Charter Oak Avenue home, federal prosecutors announced. Jesus Manuel Valle, also known as "LoLo," will spend 60 months in a federal prison followed by four years of supervised release, for narcotics distribution and firearm possession offenses, the US Attorney said. An investigation by federal and local law enforcement including the East Haven Police Department said Valle used his home as a "hub of narcotics distribution activity." In February 2020, investigators searched his house and found 17 grams of heroin packaged for distribution, 35 grams of loose heroin, 17 grams of packaged cocaine, nine grams of packaged crack cocaine, items used to process and package narcotics for street sale, and a loaded Ruger .44 magnum handgun, they said in a news release. He pleaded guilty last September to one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin, cocaine and crack, and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Out on a $250,000 bond, Valle must report to prison June 25. This case was investigated by the DEA Bridgeport High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force, the FBI Bridgeport Safe Streets Task Force and the East Haven Police Department.
