Job Description: Barefoot Mosquito & Pest Control is seeking to hire and develop skilled, customer service oriented Mosquito and Pest Technicians that can make a meaningful impact on the growth of the company. Barefoot is rapidly expanding throughout Texas. We are headquartered in Austin TX with satellite branches in Houston and Dallas / Fort Worth. We are seeking those who are energetic, comfortable, and confident around customers. Ones who love working with their hands, enjoy being outdoors, are quick learners, and want to grow with a rising company. Duties: Pest and mosquito control service includes using spraying equipment Driving and navigating to customer locations Document service activities as required and file reports as directed Skilled customer service interactions Maintain high service standards on all accounts Qualifications: Previous pest control experience is NOT NECESSARY Must be able to carry weight and be in adequate physical condition For safety reasons (respirators must be able to seal to your face) our Pest Techs must be clean-shaven Clean driving record that meets our company's insurance requirements Customer service experience Self-motivated, with the ability to learn quickly No felony or misdemeanor convictions, and you must be able to pass a criminal background check Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Physical Requirements: Some standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Average technician pay is $3,000/month during mosquito season. This reflects a base pay rate plus bonus incentives Technicians work a 4 day by 10-hour workweek Performance bonuses and incentives A work vehicle is provided Training and certification is provided Full time and Summer positions are available
