Position Overview The Field Trainer, travels to customer job sites to direct new and current employees on how to properly perform their duties the “Ace Mobile Way”. At Ace Mobile Wash we are constantly refining and improving our washing processes through the most up to date equipment, chemicals, and technology. The Field Trainer would ensure that these ever-changing processes are being properly communicated to our Wash Technicians and practiced in the field. This position reports directly to the owners and is responsible for providing feedback on employees for evaluation purposes. Weekends are required and the schedule varies daily based on the jobs and their times. This excellent growth opportunity is best suited for a self-motivated and driven individual. The Ace Mobile Field Trainer will need to create and maintain excellent relationships with both employees and clients. This candidate must possess positive and influential leadership skills as they will be involved in almost every aspect of the employee and customer experience with Ace Mobile. Candidate Characteristics The Ace Mobile Field Trainer must be bilingual, a very strong communicator, and have the ability to teach proper technique and efficiency. A positive and focused attitude is required with the willingness to learn and to hold workers accountable. Prior training experience is preferred along with the “whatever it takes” attitude. Ideal candidate is someone who is a team player and understands what it is like to work with a small business. Flexibility in schedule is a must for this position, and the candidate must be willing to work weekends. This candidate must be looking for a long-term position with room for advancement as we are rapidly growing and expanding our business. Additional Position Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree Preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience · A driver’s license is a must. · Must have demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism and personal integrity. · Demonstrated ability to learn and teach new techniques to an individual or group of people · Show that you are punctual, organized and adaptable · A strong commitment to Ace Mobile Wash’s business principles. · Experience in Fleet washing is preferred, but willing to train the “Right Candidate” Must Possess the Following Skills · Detail oriented · Able to anticipate and adapt to challenges · Bilingual · Works well in unstructured environments · Able to resolve conflict with desired results · Able to work autonomously · Position Duties Works under the Owner to provide consistent and reliable services to clients. Train employees and monitor all actives involving fleet-cleaning services. Coordinate and monitor all local equipment and crews when necessary. Submit timely employee evaluations to owner. Ensuring and promoting a safe and sustainable work environment. Additional duties: • Provide hands-on training for team (operation of equipment, washing techniques, safety protocol) • Develop new training processes • Perform Quality Control Checks in the Field • Ensuring employee reviews are completed in a timely manner • Holding employees accountable for their training • Ensure that our Crew Leads are able to perform their jobs efficiently even with new workers • Help employees meet goals and advance in their careers • Ensure that customers are happy • Make sure returning company trucks are cleaned (including tire dressing) and all trash removed before crew is dismissed. • Conduct weekly meetings with Ace Mobile staff to keep them informed on new jobs, get employee feedback, give management feedback and unify the team. • Enforce Leads to do their pre-job and post job checklist before and after every shift. • Reviewing all the leads work orders daily, accounting for number of pieces washed and reporting back to owner. • Account for the equipment taken from the shop and make sure it is returned and put back properly. • Familiarize yourself with Customers, Job-sites and daily routines. • Communicate to owners any ideas or systems that you think could improve our company. • Learn Bio-Clean system, process of cleaning, mixing soaps • Go to all new accounts to meet customers and make sure we understand and meet all of their expectations. • Understand how to use wheel polisher, disinfectant guns, and all company equipment. Prior Experience Experience training or a team of front line or general labor staff is required. An understanding of what drives and motivates staff with a focus on motivating front line staff. Prior experience of the transportation industry is not required but preferred.
