Description

The Boys are back! Join us for TWO NIGHTS of Them Coulee Boys starting Friday July 2nd. You need two tickets to attend both nights. TCB plays “Dancing in the Dimlight” front to back on Friday night. La Crosse Americana act Echo Black River (featuring Josh Rabie, Ryan Howe, and Ty Don) opens Friday.  Them Coulee Boys are known for a brand of Americana that blends punk, bluegrass, and rock & roll.  Guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, and drum provide the pulse that drives their original music. TCB have recorded three records including a 2019’s Die Happy (Lo-Hi Records), which was produced by Dave Simonett of Trampled By Turtles. They are currently finishing up their 4th full-length album "Namesake", produced by Grammy Award winner Brian Joseph (Bon Iver, Paul Simon, Sufjan Stevens). Through subsequent national tours with Trampled By Turtles and in conjunction with spots at Americana Fest in Nashville, Blue Ox Music Festival in their hometown, and as part of the Cayamo cruise, the band has gained a large following over the past few years. On the heels of the album release, they found themselves cracking the Americana charts, receiving accompanying shout-outs from American Songwriter, Bluegrass Situation, and American Roots (UK) who said “There is very little on this tremendous album that is 'simple' or easy to unravel, with excellent lyrics and arrangements that ultimately make every song a mini-cinematic epic. I would be surprised if we hear a more 'complete' album this year.” They received Artist of the Year, Best Bluegrass/Americana Artist from Wisconsin Area Music Industry, a nod from Folk Alley for Top 50 songs of 2019 - “Find Your Muse”, and Americana Highways Readers Choice Top 100 album of 2019 (#79). This is an outdoor, rain or shine event.  Gates open at 6pm.  Both shows begin at 7pm.  All ages welcome.  Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  No pets on Hotel grounds during major events.  No food or beverage may be brought in.  If you have foldable chairs in sacks, keep the bags in the car to speed entry.  All bags and blankets will be checked.
