Local Self Storage Employee Job Description:
Caretaker will be on call for requested tasks from Management like checking newly vacated units to ensure they are clean and ready to be rented, add/remove locks where needed, minor repairs, & meet with contractors if needed. Each trip to the facility employee will be expected to inspect property grounds and gate for quality. Once a month caretaker will conduct a property audit with supervisor. While you do this walk through you must keep your eyes open for any issues you might see that would require maintenance such as trash that needs to be picked up or issues with the fence and gate. If a repair is beyond your abilities you may find a vendor and get a bid. Management will approve all bids and will pay the vendor once you have inspected the completed work.
