Please join us at ART 2 art District for our opening reception for the solo art exhibition of our Resident Artist Francisco Estravides! Our Opening Reception is taking place at our upcoming ART 2 art Collectors Lounge on Friday, April 30 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. We love combining art, music and fun!We will have refreshments, wine, and cheese plates. Dress code is Retro-Dress To Impress! Dress up and be a part of our glamorous photo booth, plus Francisco will gift a print of the artwork from the exhibition to the Winner. We will see you there! This show is a tribute to the “Vintage Vegas” vibe from the “Golden Years of Las Vegas” from the 1960s-1980s. Remembering those days of great music, vibrant colors, and exciting social freedoms coming of that age. Francisco Estravides has created a collection of mixed media paintings on wood and canvas that are striking with vibrancy and freedom of Las Vegas in the 1960s. The pieces reflect iconic imagery of the bold architecture rising from the desert to waiting visitors ready to exercise their newfound liberties. Colors pop through the black and white images to show the city coming to life and the world coming to party. The collection represents strong and powerful women. Men dressed to impress with newfound fashion liberties. Men and Women with big dreams and an ability to think beyond their time carved a vibrant city out of a desert.
