From Purdue University Northwest: April 16, 2021 You've Powered Onward through a year unlike any other…now it's time to celebrate with PNW Homecoming! See the best of Homecoming so far, including Fireworks Night, Carnival and Yard Party and the PNW 5K Community Walk "Students Helping Students One Step at a Time." The rest of the month brings exciting happenings including S.H.I.N.E's Spring Forward Walk, Day of Giving, Pride Baseball @ Dowling Park and more. Explore All Homecoming Events Purdue Northwest got Homecoming month started right with the annual Homecoming Carnival on the Hammond Campus! Ready to Power Onward at the Homecoming Carnival. Students had lots of photo booth fun at the Hammond Carnival. We celebrated PNW Pride lighting up the sky on the Westville campus! Fireworks Night was proudly presented by Purdue Federal Credit Union. The youngest members of the Pride enjoyed a safe celebration with a classic Yard Party on the Westville campus. The PNW 5K Community Walk "Students Helping Students One Step at a Time," sponsored by the Honors College, helped to raise funds and grow awareness for the Dean of Students emergency fund. Walk participants enjoyed a nice day on the Hammond campus. Students learned from Jorge Lopez with the Career Center and successful entrepreneurs and PNW Alumni Chelsea Whittington and Alan Myszkowski in a virtual Zoom panel: The PNW Alumni Owned Business Network: Side Hustle to MANE Hustle.
