HOBOKEN, NJ — Following the announcement of a verdict in the trial of Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin on Tuesday — Chauvin was found guilty of murdering George Floyd last Memorial Day — Hoboken officials reacted, including Police Chief Ken Ferrante: Every good cop in the United States just said "Thank God!". "You need to show your community what you're doing, what your strategies are, what our officers deal with," he said.And Mayor Ravi Bhalla wrote: True justice is when our children aren't judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
