This position is both hands-on in the field and also spends some time in the office. Desired job requirements, but will train the right person: --Love your job and have fun doing it! --Professional horticultural and gardening experience --Experience designing and installing creative and unique seasonal containers --Maintain existing clients & develop new business --Be flexible doing hands-on work; pruning, flower maintenance, planting, watering, small landscape installations, mulching, deadheading, composting, weeding, etc... --Must have valid MN driver’s license, free of any major infractions, (vehicle use provided at work) --Strong plant identification --Professional affiliations and training a plus: (CNLP, Master Gardener, Horticulture Degree, Certified Applicator, etc.) --Knowledge of sustainable gardening practices and non-chemical alternatives --Office/clerical systems organization experience --Must be able to read scaled designs --Good communication skills, written and oral, with a motivated personality.
