We are currently looking to fill full-time repair technician positions. We prefer to have applicants with pool/spa industry experience but are willing to train the right person with a great attitude. Responsibilities: * Monitor/test pool water, handle/balance all chemicals for swimming pools * Perform cleaning of swimming pools including: * Removing/skimming debris from the the top of pool as well as the bottom of the pool * Brushing all surfaces of the pool (steps, walls, floor etc.) * Recording readings to ensure a chemically balanced pool * Adding chemicals as needed * Maintain records for chemicals as needed * Responsible for maintaining personal inventory of chemicals, parts, and supplies as needed. * Makes minor adjustments ensuring pool equipment is running efficiently with no issues. * Perform minor manual labor. Minimum Qualifications: * No experience is necessary but is a plus. Will provide on the job training. * Fluently English speaking Licenses and Other Requirements * Valid drivers license * Clean driving record * No felonies on criminal record JOB DESCRIPTION * Ability to quickly learn the procedures and methods used to maintain swimming pools in good working order. * Record chemical usage per pool. * Maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with supervisor, and customers. * Drive vehicle safely and in accordance with traffic laws. * Perform minor manual labor. * Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing up to 30-50 pounds. * Understand and carry out written directions. * Ability to use text and email * Perform varied tasks. * Physical Demands And Working Conditions * Rain gears and non-slip shoes required Environment * Working in outdoor environment with changing weather conditions and temperatures exceeding 100° during summer, and as low as 40° during winter months * Physical Demands such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing up to 50 pounds. * Standing for extended periods of time. * Reaching overhead, horizontally and above the shoulders. * May have to communicate/speak with customers from time to time. *Commission * Overtime pay/time and a half * Full medical and dental benefits after 6 months Job Types * Full-time Pay * $18 - $22 per hour (based on experience), pay increase after sufficient skill sets demonstrated. Schedule * Monday – Friday (8am-4pm)
