Press release from the City of San Clemente: April 13, 2021 Planning Commission Applications Being Accepted Through June 1, 2021 The City of San Clemente is accepting applications to fill vacancies on the City Planning Commission for two-year staggered terms. The purpose of the Planning Commission is to advise the City Council on land use policies and laws, and to make final decisions on certain kinds of development and use permits. The Planning Commission meets twice each month on the Wednesday night following the City Council's regularly-scheduled meetings. (Regular City Council meetings take place the first and third Tuesdays of each month). Planning Commission Study Sessions commence at 6:00 p.m., and Regular Business Meetings commence at 7:00 p.m. Additional meetings may be called as needed.
