PHILADELPHIA — A person was found dead Tuesday morning near the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Center City Philadelphia, according to reports. Fox 29 reports a 48-year-old man was found dead at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. The man was found on the 100 block of N. 13th Street, according to Action News. The discovery was made just before the convention center began taking in people for coronavirus vaccination appointments. The convention center has been operating as a mass coronavirus vaccination site since early March. Police said the man was assaulted and a pipe was found at the scene, according to the outlets. No arrests have been made.
