Press release from the Town of Bow: April 19, 2021 From the office of the Town Clerk/Tax Collector: Upcoming Elections: Primary – Tuesday, April 20, 2021  Election – Tuesday, June 8, 2021 Absentee voting: Most of the new COVID-19 related rules expired on December 31st, 2020. The absentee ballot request does not have the COVID-19 option anymore. You have to pick the Disability reason in section II if you are requesting an absentee ballot because of Covid-19. Last date to request an absentee ballot is 5:00 P.M Monday April 19th, 2021. You cannot request an absentee ballot on election day. Absentee ballots have to be received by 5:00 PM election day which is Tuesday April 20th, 2021 if it is mailed or can be dropped off by a family member with an ID by 5:00 P.M.  May a voter still use concern for COVID-19 as a reason to request an absentee ballot and/or absentee registration?  Answer: Yes. You have to pick disability for the reason on the request form and sign the disability section on the affidavit envelope  Absentee ballot request form are posted on the Elections page on the Town Website on the Elections page or use the link below.  http://www.bownh.gov/DocumentCenter/View/5611/Absentee-Ballot-App-2021-City-Town-with-Primary-choicedocx  A separate request is required for each election. Absentee requests can be mailed , faxed or emailed to the Town Clerk. The forms have to be signed by the requester. E- Signatures will not be accepted.
