Garage Fire Reported In Barnstead: Watch

BARNSTEAD, NH — Firefighters from around the region were sent to Barnstead for a building fire on Sunday. Firefighters were sent to North Barnstead Road for a report of a garage fire around 2:45 p.m. involving a garage and vehicle. Firefighters called for mutual aid after the fire extended to brush in the area and a home. At 3 p.m., Pittsfield fire and rescue teams were requested, with their tanker, to assist with the fire. About 15 minutes later, Chichester, Hooksett, and Loudon firefighters were sent to the South Barnstead firehouse to assist with mutual aid coverage. The garage was completed destroyed.
