JOLIET, IL — A 32-year-old Minooka resident was arrested this week by Joliet police in connection with allegations that he put electronic tracking devices on the car of a woman who was at the Inwood Ice Arena last November. Criminal defendant Vincent "Vince" Stellato knew the woman he is accused of tracking with an electronic device from the Joliet Park District property at 3000 West Jefferson St., police reports show. The woman reported the incident last November. "During the course of this investigation, officers learned that two tracking devices were later discovered attached to the victim's vehicle," Joliet police reports show. "Officers recovered these devices." Over the past several months, Joliet police detectives determined that Stellato was the owner of these tracking devices that were put on the woman's vehicle. On Tuesday, a Will County judge issued an arrest warrant for Stellato. Late Wednesday morning, Joliet police detectives took Stellato into custody at the Inwood Ice Arena. The Minooka man was released from custody after posting bail, Joliet police said.
