JOLIET, IL — A 21-year-old Milwaukee man who now works in Joliet at the DHL Warehouse on Cedar Creek Drive was arrested at his place of employment after Joliet police say he fled a traffic stop and officers later recovered a loaded gun inside Keenan Bryant's car. The police chase that led to Bryant's arrest at the DHL Warehouse happened shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday. The Wisconsin native is now in the Will County Jail and Joliet police charged him with aggravated fleeing/eluding a peace officer, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of ammunition, having no Firearm Owners Identification, obstructing a peace officer, and multiple traffic citations, police reports show. Joliet police officers tried to pull over Bryant's car for a traffic violation in the 600 block of West Millsdale Road. "The driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle fled into the parking lot of the DHL Warehouse," police said. Officers found Bryant's car inside the company's parking lot. "Investigating officers observed DHL surveillance video that depicted the driver exiting the vehicle and using an employee badge to enter the warehouse. Officers were able to locate the driver inside of the warehouse and identified him as Bryant, who was an DHL employee," Joliet police said. When Joliet officers searched the Milwaukee man's car, a loaded firearm and ammunition was found, police reports show.
