Job Title: Warehouse Operations Associate FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Operations Work Hours: Part Time Weekends Reports To: Warehouse Operations Lead Direct Reports: none Date: Immediate Purpose of the Position: Transport inventory between warehouse, production facility, and Retail locations and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy. Supports the daily needs of the facilities in coordination with the Warehouse Operations Lead and Operations General Manager. Primary Duties: Pull up Transfer Requests daily through net suite and utilize to pick & pack the inventory requested by Retail locations, Road Show, Web, Marketing, Rentals or Corporate Sales, from warehouse inventory. Transport requested inventory to Retail locations according to daily schedule and warehouse SOP’s. Ensure transfers for all other locations are handled according to their respective SOP’s. Assist Retail staff with receipt of goods into POS / Net suite systems and put away goods into stock (on store shelves & back room storage). Timely transport of new inventory production processed by QC to warehouse and facilitate prompt put away to appropriate bins & locations. Perform functions and tasks related to facilities maintenance including but not limited to: daily recycling and trash disposal, kitchen upkeep (inclusive of loading dirty dishes from sink or countertops to dishwasher, running dishwasher whenever full and emptying dishwasher of clean dishes as needed), identifying needs for new light bulbs while maintaining appropriate supply of fresh bulbs and reporting of all non-operating and broken or damaged systems to Operations GM. Handle daily mail activity by collecting mail, sorting and distributing to proper employee mailboxes and locations. Update and maintain labels on employee mailboxes as needed or when notified by HR of changes. Support warehousing layout with proper placement of products and miscellaneous stock (meaning non-votive / drinker / raw materials goods) as to keep the walkways and general areas clear and safe. Knowledgeable and able to train others on HVAC, security system and Fire/Life safety equipment. Serve as primary support to move and reconfigure furnishings, office systems and company goods on an as needed basis and when it is not disruptive of regular, daily warehouse functions (i.e. cannot delay transfer or Retail replenishment related activities). May assist with facilitating pick-up and delivery of parts and equipment as needed. Keep warehouse desk and surrounding area clean and organized. Sweep warehouse floors as needed to keep clean and clear of miscellaneous debris. Assist with conducting quarterly and/or annual physical inventory process at warehouse location(s). Assist with conducting daily cycle count process. Attend quarterly and/or annual warehouse safety training and reviews. Assist with glassybaby vehicle maintenance as needed (which may include taking to designated service station for oil changes, tire rotation, etc). Maintain clean and orderly glassybaby vehicle (including keeping cabin area free from debris, sweeping out of cargo bay as needed and occasional exterior wash). Adhere to all warehouse SOP’s and schedules. Assist with proactively maintaining and adhering to glassybaby inventory policies, procedures and accuracy standard of less than 2% variance. Work with colleagues in an amicable and supportive manner in all situations. Respond to communications promptly and professionally. Work with Warehouse Operations Lead with regards to work schedule and time off request. Ensure warehouse gates and doors are locked whenever you are the last to leave the warehouse area. Measurements of Performance (ongoing): Able to provide stores with requested inventory and proactively communicate when transfers are delayed, backordered and/or cancelled. Able to work as a proactive, supportive, self-directed team member, upholding a positive attitude and setting a good example at all times. Encourage a supportive work environment for all employees. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in an efficient, organized, and detailed manner. Able to provide high level of customer service to our internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications Needed to Successfully Perform the Job: Education/Experience/Certifications/Licenses: High School diploma or GED, valid WA state driver’s license, and individual auto insurance. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High standard of attention to detail. Professional, courteous, and clear verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter and proactive; able to work independently without supervision. Excellent work ethic. Flexible work schedule. Strong logistical skills, with an ability to think outside the box, using reasonable deduction. Ability to multitask, managing many different projects with varying degrees of urgency and frequent changes. Ability to think quickly and critically, with excellent problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google products Ability to lift and carry 55 pounds unassisted; twist, bend, crawl and reach above head required Ability to work some evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call shifts when necessary Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 55 pounds. Frequent standing and walking. Must be able to work in conditions that are impacted by weather and climate. Must be able to speak and hear well enough to conduct conversations. Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work in an environment where noise level is usually moderate. Regular use of hands to finger, handle, or feet; must be able to reach with hands and arms.
