SAN RAFAEL, CA — A motorist who crashed into Las Gallinas Creek on Wednesday was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, police said. The collision in the 600 block of Del Ganado Road near Fire Station 7 led to a road closure for several hours mid-day. Yesterday our officers responded to a solo vehicle collision into the Las Gallinas creek. Upon further investigation, officers determined the driver was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.
