MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —Thinking about catching a few waves Monday? Here's an update on surf conditions from Surfline via the South Bay Dawn Patrol.
Look for modest surf on tap from a blend of SW and WNW swells this morning.
"Exposures are in the knee-waist high zone, getting up around stomach high for standouts through the northern Manhattan beach zone along with the occasional larger wave," according to Surfline.
Offshore winds are light/variable to light offshore and a low tide of 0.5' is expected at 10:50 a.m.
For the remainder of the day, the wind will stay light through mid-morning with an onshore flow out of the W/WSW. This will start to pick up after that with winds reaching moderate levels of 10-14 knots by the middle of the afternoon as the tide rises to a 7:35 p.m. high of 3.2'.
