ELMHURST, IL — A woman told Elmhurst police this week that she was "inappropriately touched" on the property of Elmhurst Public Library, according to a police report.
Police responded to the incident shortly after 11 a.m. Monday at the library, 125 S. Prospect Ave.
The woman told police she walked away from the person after the incident. The report did not say whether it happened inside or outside the library or whether the suspect was a man or woman.
Police said the case remained under "active" investigation. It was labeled as disorderly conduct.
In a separate incident Monday afternoon, a man was seen entering and exiting the children's restroom at the library several times, according to a police report. The police were asked to issue the man a no-trespass notice. The man told an officer he had used the children's restroom in the past without any problems, police said. He was given a no-trespass notice.
