The artists were tasked to create works that captured their interpretations of Los Angeles, with the primary mural intended to serve as a photo opp at the historic Market at Third & Fairfax. The mural debut also coincided with the relaunch of L.A. Times' culture magazine, Image. MURAL ARTIST: Mike Farrell BANNER ARTISTS: James Haunt; Caitlin Kuhwald; Andrew Cooper; Wonder Crush; and Mister Sampson. About the Farmers Market Newsstand: In 1976, Paul Sobel, then 18, opened his shop at the Original Farmers Market, now a local destination for newspapers and magazines, plus including a walk-in cigar humidor and a U.S. post office. ----------- Have a share-worthy photo?
