CD One Price Cleaners, the leading dry cleaning and laundry provider in the Chicago area with 34 retail stores, is seeking a part-time Sales Development Specialist to assist the company in growing its expanding residential pickup and delivery model as well as assist in researching and developing business to business (B2B) opportunities requiring laundry services (restaurants, light medical offices, massage clinics, chiropractors, uniforms etc).  In this role you will research opportunities, collaborate with internal team on sales messaging and product development, and utilize your great sales skills to cold call, relationship build and close sales opportunities to generate cleaning opportunities for the CD One retail stores. If you have prior sales development experience, enjoy being out in the field, have a competitive spirit and can generate sales activity while building strong relationships with integrity, we would enjoy talking with you. This is a new position for the company so we are looking for self-starters that can work independently but can bring their personal experience to the team to help us research and grow new channels of revenue outside our successful retail stores through pickup and delivery. This part-time position is perfect for those interested in having a flexible schedule. This position will be approximately 15 hours per week split between remote work and out in the field. This individual will participate in weekly check in conference calls with the development team at CD One (marketing, operations, technology) and have one-on-one calls with team members as needed. If you have experience developing business with other providers of B2B laundry services like Cintas or Aramark or a water/fire restoration company or you have sold other services to businesses, this may be a great fit for you. The position may grow in scope and hours over time.
