On April 15, to celebrate Israel's 73rd Birthday, known as Yom HaAtzmaut, the community of Long Beach and West Orange County was treated to a free kosher falafel drive-thru. The event was co-sponsored by Jewish Long Beach, Alpert Jewish Community Center, The Hebrew Academy, Hillel, and the Jewish Family and Children Services (JFCS).
