LAKEWOOD, OH — A Cleveland man was charged in connection to Tuesday's shooting at Madison Park, police announced Thursday.
Corey Froberg, 18, faces a charge of complicity to attempted murder, a first-degree felony. He is currently in police custody, and his bail has been set at $250,000. His first appearance in court has not yet been scheduled.
Froberg was arrested in connection with a shooting Tuesday in which another man, also 18, was hurt. His condition was not available Thursday afternoon, Lakewood police told Patch.
Froberg's vehicle was found abandoned in Cleveland, police said. The vehicle may have played a role in the shooting and is now in the custody of Lakewood police, who will examined it for forensic evidence, police said.
Lakewood police are still pursuing other leads and trying to determine whether there are other suspects, a department spokesperson said.
An earlier shooting happend at Madison Park March 12. In that incident, an argument broke out at the basketball court over who could play next and two men shot at a third man. The third man pulled out a gun and shot at the first two men, Lakewood police Chief Kevin Kaucheck said.
