Tesla To Open New Store In Gilroy, First Location In South County

GILROY, CA — Tesla is opening a store in Gilroy, according to its website. The location would be the Bay Area-based automaker's first in South County. News of the new store was first reported by the Gilroy Dispatch. The store's location posted on Tesla's site is 500 Automall Drive, which used to be a Dodge dealership until it closed last year. Tesla has two supercharger locations in Gilroy — one at the Gilroy Premium Outlets and the other at the Gilroy Crossing Shopping Center. A Twitter user posted a photo earlier this week of what appears to be the new Gilroy location: Had to come see the new Tesla service center and showroom in Gilroy for myself. Hopefully they add some superchargers(plenty of room), giving Gilroy 3 spots.
