Description
BURNSVILLE, MN— The taser that had previously belonged to Derek Chauvin, who is currently on trial for the murder of George Floyd last summer, was recovered during a traffic stop in Burnsville in January, The Star Tribune reported.
No information has yet been released on the identity of who had the stolen item, nor what led to the traffic stop, have been released, the publication reported.
Officials said that it is possible the taser was stolen last summer, when the Third Precinct police station was set on fire and looted, although it is still being investigated, the publication reported.
