"President Biden is right. It is time to bring our troops home from Afghanistan, and for many of us, it is past time. A September 11 deadline for a coordinated departure of American troops, along with the 7,500 NATO troops, should provide sufficient time for a well-planned and appropriately staged withdrawal.
