NORTH CAROLINA — Vice President Kamala Harris is set to travel to North Carolina Monday, the White House announced.
Harris left Washington, D.C. around 9:30 a.m. and is expected to arrive in Greensboro. There, she is scheduled to deliver remarks on the American Jobs Plan at Guilford Technical Community College around noon.
Traveling with Harris is EPA Administrator Michael Regan, who previously served at the Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality.
While in North Carolina, Harris is also expected to tour electric bus manufacturer Thomas Built Buses in High Point, North Carolina around 2:30 p.m.
The trip marks the first trip to the state as vice president for Harris, who is expected to discuss the White House' American Jobs Plan, WXII reported.
