Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Friday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District. The Northeast Health District added 66 COVID-19 cases, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases increased slightly.The seven-day rolling average of added cases in both Oconee and Clarke counties decreased.The District added three confirmed deaths from COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths fell just slightly.Oconee County Schools reported only two Active COVID-19 Cases in the system's schools and only eight individuals in quarantine.Area hospitals reported a small increase in the number of COVID-19 patients.The Northeast Health District continues to lag the state in administration or COVID-19 vaccines.For details and for state comparisons, please click through to Oconee County Observations.
